Magic Mortgages is a High Street mortgage brokerage with access to every deal in the market place, which is currently well over 6,000. We have been established for 12 years in which time our company has seen extraordinary growth. Our office can be found on the Marlowes in Hemel Hempstead, which is a High Street location right near the market square and opposite the Royal Bank of Scotland. This location makes a significant contribution to our business volumes as our profile has increased.

Recently our team of consultants has increased to 4 advisers in house plus 5 others who operate remotely supporting some of our other introducer firms. 

Meet the team:

Mike Dimonaco – General Manager and Mortgage adviser who has 28 years experience in the finance industry having worked for two large life offices at a senior level before switching to run Magic Mortgages in his home town of Hemel Hempstead. Mike was very keen to get involved with a local business where he felt he could help make a real difference. Mike is a keen sportsman and despite his age still turns out for the occasional game of Rugby.

Tony Balzan - Senior Consultant and fully regulated adviser, Tony is authorised to talk about all aspects of Mortgages and Full financial advice, including Investments, Pensions, Savings Plans and even the dreaded Endowments! Tony brings 15 years of experience to the business and his strong background in full financial planning brings great benefits to our clients who need a little more than just mortgage advice. Tony is a keen Luton Town supporter and season ticket holder but please don't hold that against him!

 

Terry Donovan - Has over 10 years experience in the financial Services markets including FSA regulation and Compliance. Terry joined Magic Mortgages over four years ago to assist with and help implement a compliance structure following M day. Fully CeMap qualified Terry has now become a key part of our experienced and successful team of consultants. Terry is a local person having lived in Hemel for the past 17 years and his pastimes include the martial arts and generally keeping fit.

 
Neil Harris - Has been with Magic Mortgages for the past 4 years having previously worked for The Mortgage Market also in Hemel Hempstead. Neil has been in the Mortgage business for the past 15 years of which the last 9 have been spent in Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas. Neil has been responsible for servicing some of the companies corporate contacts, specialising with Estate Agencies where he has developed a good loyal clientbank. Neil's home town is Slough but for some strange reason is a mad Arsenal supporter.  

Kevin Bushby - A local lad who just happens to have a very strong South African accent, this could of course be due to the number of years he spent in South Africa! Kevin is another very experienced member of the adviser team who works remotely servicing some of the agency contracts that Magic Mortgages have in the local area. Kevin is a person who works hard and plays hard and will be only too keen to see any of his clients at any time of the day (or night!). Kevin is very much a family man who finds his escape in work, cricket and fast cars.

Syed Ausat - Switched into the financial industry 13 years ago after an early career in electronic engineering.  He spent the next decade in accountancy and business advice services before joining Magic Mortgages in 2006.  Ausat is fully qualified specialising in commercial and residential mortgages and has a special interest in helping businesses raise  development funds. Ausat is a keen stock market and property investor and an avid cricket fan.

Sue Huntley - Joined Magic Mortgages in April 2001 having previously worked for Birmingham Midshires Building Society (formerly Hemel Hempstead Building Society) for 24 years. Sue is responsible for all types of administration in the office from processing/chasing mortgages, harassing the various lenders to ensure that offers are produced on time, plus chasing the Life Office to obtain the relevant acceptances for mortgage protection applications. Sue also manages the customer database and organises all the correspondence and mailers to our clients.

Gabriella Ladyman- Is the newest member of the Magic Mortgage team and is a trainee consultant working predominantly on sales support. Gabriella is fully qualified with CeMap 1,2 and 3 and she has excellent experience having worked for a mortgage packaging company for the previous few years. Gabbi currently works part time helping advisers to achieve their goals and obtain offers from the lenders promptly and hassle free. Gabbi is originally from Hungary but has been a UK citizen for a number of years now having married and settled in Hemel Hempstead with her husband David and son Luke.
